baby update

belly, 17 weeks? sorry they are out of order but i can never move them after i load them!

so i think i have figured out why i don't blog so much anymore and don't feel like i have anything to say. hello! status updates? i share anything exciting or big on facebook the second it happens. so what's left to write about? in fact....why am i bothering to write this? lol!! it's silly! so i'm not trying to be redundant but i'll share a few things you may or may not already know.

1. i'm 20 wks 6 days pregnant

2. this baby is a boy!

3. baby boy's name is Casen Lee Johnson

4. i've gained something like 13 pounds already (gah!)

5. at 16 weeks i had a sonogram and we were pretty sure it was a girl.

6. if a baby boy has his legs pressed tightly together in the womb it will look like a girl!

7. i cried in the dr. office when they said boy. not because it was a boy, or i was upset i wasn't having a girl....there were soooo many overflowing emotions/hormones....i couldn't help it! and i'm totally happy it's a BOY!!!

8. i started wearing maternity jeans this time around at like 10 weeks. yep. still had like 15 lbs to lose "from Cash"! lol

9. my goal this pregnancy was to not gain what i did with Cash! that was 45 lbs. goodness!!

10. i will work until April (or end of March...) and return to work in August. so thankful for my flexible employer and staff! :)

11. the girls at work are still convinced i will not return to work after Casen is born. i'm convinced i will! :)

12. i have been feeling Casen's little kicks since week 14, and now i can feel them from the outside! can't wait to share that with everyone.

i guess that is all i can think of that would be of interest!

So that's my concert experience in photos lol I was very sleepy and yawning in my seat. it was passed my bedtime by like 9:30! i was SO glad i thought to bring earplugs! i didn't get home until 1 am and boy did i feel it today. and after re-reading the last four sentences i realize i'm not as young as i used to be!! :)

soooooo......what to share? what's new? Cash and i visited Jess and Addy in Austin for approx. 24 hours recently. Cash stressed me out while we were there! :D We went to a birthday lunch for a friend of Jess and Brandon's and it was on a winery.

anyway i felt slightly out of sorts at the fancy place and with a cranky soon-to-be-two-year-old i was stressed "to here"!!! he even spilled an entire glass of water at the table! :) thankfully i have very understanding friends and they assured me nobody cared and it was ok :)

Cash has taken 2 of his 4 swim lessons with Mrs. Jane. She does them at her house which is about a 45 second drive from my house. score! Cash and Aubrey (she takes her class after Cash, they are 15 min sessions) are learning to make bubbles, kick their legs, and move their arms in the water!

We went to Haven's birthday party on sunday. Haven is Neely's little girl....Neely is a co-worker of Jon's. :)

She turned 2 and had a great big party! she had a petting zoo with 2 ponies! Cash was the first to ride, and kept going back for more rides! he loved it!

Baby Brita girl arrived on July 6th, 2010. i was so glad it happened to fall on a Tuesday, when i am off work! i was able to go to the hospital and visit with Katy, Jason, Brita, Jess, and Addy! it was a great morning!

Jon left this morning at 2:30 am for PA again. this is the 3rd trip out. he returns August 4th (hopefully!!) and we will have Cash's 2nd birthday party on Aug 7th.

ok ok so again i neglet writing the blog. i just don't "have anything"! i don't want to be a bore! :O) what can i update you on? started my new job at Dr. Stewart's office in Weatherford! we moved down the street from one office to another (into a larger space). we will be there for at least 3 years (good, cuz moving=no fun!). Cash will be 2 in August and i'm thinking of bday party the first weekend in August. We are building a fence finally! i'm sure a dog will soon follow after fence completion! Still prayerfully waiting on adding to our family with a brother or sister for Cash. Hasn't happened yet, just being patient and all! :O) Cash wears 2T clothes (mostly) and like 6-7 in shoes. i had to get him new shoes at target the other day...the cross between sandals and tennis shoes...due to the fact anything else he takes off at school and goes barefoot! they have rocks in the back play area and i'm sure that can't feel good! no word yet if he is keeping the new shoes on all day. if not, i tried! i'm off to get coffee....

the story of the fish stick and cheetos

ok....not so much of a story per se as just some stuff that happened. since the blog is not letting me move pics around here they are in random order....the above pic is Cash after i took the fish stick away from him. what fish stick you ask? well one day i was in the bedroom and i hear Cash in the kitchen opening the freezer drawer. he walks in the bedroom with a piece of ice. i pretty much ignore him as he's happy, and go on about my business. again i hear him back in the freezer and a few minutes later he returns to the bedroom, frozen fish stick in hand. i proceed to take the fish stick from his posession for fear of him getting sick, and this is the result!

this is what happens if you give your toddler a small bag of cheetos and leave him alone. cheetos everywhere. cheetos under little feet crushed into carpet.

oh now we are back to fish stick breakdown. this was him reaching and still wanting the frozen fish stick. i'm such a mean mommy!and lastly the 'stick, missing an end. :O)
